Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Controls & Automation Engineer to lead the design and execution of projects, ensuring compliance with legal and MARS standards. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing controls master plans for our factory in Bruck/Leitha
  • Managing multiple responsibilities including project execution, functional support, personal development, and growing in the role
  • Driving the initiation and implementation of technical improvements across factory facilities to enhance efficiency and performance
  • Actively engaging and leading project team members, encouraging proactive performance and ownership of assigned tasks
  • Overseeing and coordinating the work of external contractors, ensuring effective management and seamless project execution
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and all factory departments to ensure smooth integration, efficient project delivery, and aligned objectives
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Automation Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience on the job in relevant area
  • Profound knowledge of PLC, SCADA, MES, and ERP systems
  • Strong project management skills to ensure timely and successful project delivery
  • Proven ability to work effectively within high-performing teams and contribute to a collaborative environment
  • Strong communication, listening, and influencing skills to engage and motivate team members and stakeholders
  • Fluent English skills and basic German skills
