IT Integration Engineer for Voice Systems

Job Overview

Frequentis Group, a leading provider of communication and information systems for control centers with safety-critical functions, is seeking an Integration Engineer for our innovative IT-based voice communication system, iSecCOM. Our solutions are trusted by over 500 clients across 150 countries, ensuring seamless communication for air traffic control services.

Role Responsibilities

As an Integration Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless interaction of various software components within an integrated system. Your expertise will contribute to delivering high-quality software solutions that enhance secure air traffic management. You will collaborate closely with product managers and testing engineers to identify and resolve integration challenges.

  • Linux Red Hat with High Availability
  • Ansible
  • Postgres
  • Jenkins
  • GIT
  • Container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Java/Groovy
  • Python
  • Kamaillio
  • Network protocols (TCP/IP, SIP, HTTP, etc.)
  • Wireshark
  • JIRA
  • JAMA
Key Responsibilities
  • Integrate hardware and software modules along with third-party components into our systems.
  • Develop test cases to validate the functionality and compatibility of these components.
  • Analyze system requirements and design documentation.
  • Conduct integration tests to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
  • Collaborate within a development team and provide support to colleagues across various teams.
  • Research and implement best practices and new technologies to enhance the efficiency of integration testing.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in service, system integration, or testing engineering.
  • Completed education focused on computer science or network technology (HTL, FH, university).
  • Strong technical skills, analytical thinking, and teamwork abilities.
  • Genuine interest in Linux (Red Hat), virtualization, network technology (VoIP), and IT security.
  • Solid knowledge of IT infrastructure due to prior professional experience.
  • Willingness to travel internationally for customer engagements, with proficiency in English.
