International Warehouse Automation Lead

**Job Overview**

A highly skilled professional is sought to lead ALDI's global strategy for modernizing its warehouse network. The successful candidate will oversee programmes focused on the planning, design, and operation of warehouses for today and the future.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Drive cost leadership, availability, and sustainability in the design and implementation of warehouse solutions.
  • Collaborate with and influence other business functions to maximize warehouse automation and end-to-end supply chain efficiency.
  • Act as a leader within the department by developing a high-performing team of specialists.
  • Negotiate contracts exceeding 100 million EUR.
  • Develop and implement new processes based on current industry best practices and future trends.

**Requirements**

  • A university degree in mechanical/industrial engineering, logistics, technology, or supply chain management.
  • Extensive professional experience in supply chain management with a focus on warehouse automation, and at least 5 years of leadership experience, ideally in the retail sector.
  • Proven experience in the planning and execution of highly complex, multi-temperature automated warehouses.
  • Analytical, structured, and results-oriented approach to work.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills with a high level of assertiveness.
