Lead Product Designer: Visionary for User-Centric Innovation

We're looking for a talented Lead Product Designer to join our team at MeisterLabs Software GmbH. As a key member of our product leadership, you will be responsible for guiding the design strategy and vision for our products.

Salary: €120,000 - €150,000 per year

About the Role

In this role, you will oversee the development of our product design from concept to launch, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of user experience and visual appeal. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing, to align design goals with business objectives.

As a seasoned designer, you have 5+ years of experience working as a Product Designer, as well as 2+ years in managing teams, ideally in a B2B SaaS/Productivity domain. Your expertise in shipping web and mobile products from ideation to iterative release is invaluable to us.

You will also be responsible for setting up, implementing, and evolving Design Systems, streamlining processes, and improving workflows and tools within remote and asynchronous work environments. Additionally, you will formulate and execute comprehensive design and UX strategies that align with our product strategy and company's long-term objectives.

  • Real Life Experience: Proven track record of delivering successful product designs and leading teams in a B2B SaaS/Productivity domain.
  • Product Design Champion: Strong understanding of best-of-class design components and UX patterns, with experience in contributing to global design systems.
  • Design Operations Specialist: Ability to streamline processes, improve workflows and tools, and set up Design Systems in remote and asynchronous work environments.
  • Strategy Driver: Formulated and executed design and UX strategies that aligned with product strategy and company objectives.
  • User-Centered Approach: Skilled in translating customer insights, feedback, and market research into valuable design insights.
  • Analytic Mindset: Proficient in product and design KPIs, using them to inform discovery, ideation, and implementation phases.
  • Research Expertise: Well-versed in generative and evaluative user research, identifying user problems and deriving insights.
  • Management Credentials: Experienced in mentoring and guiding teams of senior designers and researchers.
  • Stakeholder Management: Confident in managing demands and goals from different departments and steering impactful decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members, stakeholders, and customers.
