Job Title: Executive Pastry Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Pastry Chef to join our team at Raditi, obrt za poslovne usluge. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the pastry department and ensuring the highest quality of desserts and pastries in our à la carte service and banquet areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the pastry department and oversee the production and preparation of desserts, cakes, and sweets for all F&B outlets.
  • Develop and implement new dessert menus and recipes to enhance the culinary experience for our guests.
  • Train and mentor junior pastry chefs and apprentices to ensure the highest standards of quality and service.
  • Monitor storage temperatures and ensure proper storage of food to maintain the highest standards of food safety and quality.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth operation during shifts and special events.
Requirements:
  • Completed apprenticeship/education in upscale gastronomy/hospitality.
  • Several years of experience in the pastry/pâtissier field, preferably in a 5-star hotel or restaurant.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.
  • Creativity and a sense of responsibility, with a passion for delivering exceptional quality and service.
