Accounting & Tax Specialist (m/f/d) - Financial Expert

Job Summary

BRP-Rotax is seeking a highly skilled Accounting & Tax Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for preparing monthly financial statements, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review monthly financial statements for our seven Rotax companies in accordance with IFRS and the Commercial Code.
  • Transfer Rotax results to BRP consolidated financial statements on a monthly basis.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prepare budgets and forecasts.
  • Process tax issues and prepare and report current and annual tax returns, primarily VAT and excise tax.
  • Derive and apply for the research premium in collaboration with Controlling and specialized departments.
  • Act as a sparring partner for internal logistics on annual partial inventories, coordinating with auditors and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Contribute to efficiency and digitalization projects.

Requirements

  • Completed commercial training (A-levels) with further qualification in accounting & tax consulting or a university degree specializing in finance & taxes.
  • First professional experience in international finance, ideally in a corporate environment, is an advantage.
  • SAP user knowledge and IT affinity are desirable.
  • Very good knowledge of German and English is required.
  • Accurate and analytical working method, solution-orientation paired with initiative and strong communication skills.

What We Offer

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment with many development opportunities. The minimum salary for this position is EUR 57,092 gross/year in accordance with the collective agreement for the metal industry. Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, we offer an attractive and performance-related salary with corresponding overpayment.
