About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at Erste Digital. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing software security initiatives and activities within our application security program.


Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze our CI/CD build infrastructure to identify security issues and drive the implementation of appropriate countermeasures.
  • Work with our security testing tools (AST) to enhance their effectiveness and maximize automation.
  • Measure and monitor the effectiveness of our security practices via metrics and KPIs.
  • Design and implement a scalable approach for threat modeling and security requirements engineering.

Requirements
  • Technical education (HTL, FH, TU) and a profound knowledge in the area of IT.
  • Practical experience with CI/CD build infrastructures and the integration of automated security testing tools.
  • Familiarity with software vulnerabilities and the ability to address their root causes.
  • Experience with software security frameworks, such as OWASP SAMM.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Excellent communication and team skills, with fluency in English.
