Your Challenge

Driving Customer Value & Profitability in our Business Unit Assistec
We are looking for an experienced expert who will lead our efforts to maximize customer value in the project portfolio of our Business Unit Greiner Assistec. Our Senior Expert Customer Value Management will develop and implement strategies in the areas of business intelligence, market and customer segmentation, contingency planning and implementation, as well as value-oriented pricing to ensure that our products and services meet customer needs. The role is a key function in strategic decision-making and must provide tailored solutions for various customer segments in the technical plastic parts and components industry to achieve long-term growth and above-average returns for the company. The challenge is to deepen customer engagement, develop unique value offers, and lead the Business Unit to sales and profitability growth through a combination of strategic marketing, customer insight management, and specific value-enhancement initiatives.

Main Responsibilities

  • Create customer value: Analyze customer needs and gaps to identify untapped value potential. Implement plans for value-enhancement initiatives tailored to customer segments and improve product offerings and service quality.
  • Value-oriented pricing & value capture: Develop and implement value-oriented pricing strategies to maximize profitability and lead change management initiatives to embed these practices throughout the business unit.
  • Build strategic marketing capabilities: Develop and lead the data-driven decision-making framework for the business unit, improve customer insight with CRM tools, and establish KPIs to measure the success of marketing and customer value initiatives.
  • Integrated management and control of customer offerings: Develop and implement frameworks, governance, and processes to increase profitability and value generation through customer inquiries.
  • Lateral leadership and change management: Lead cross-functional teams to achieve strategic goals and implement change management for value-based selling while aligning with internal stakeholders and leveraging group synergies for growth.

Your Profile

  • University degree in business administration, economics, finance, or a technical discipline, MBA is a plus
  • More than 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in production or in a B2B environment
  • Proven track record in customer segmentation, pricing, and strategic marketing, preferably with experience in management consulting
  • Excellent project management and process development skills
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate complex business information into actionable insights
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and change management in international matrix organizations is an asset
  • Certification as a Certified Pricing Professional (CPP) and knowledge and experience with Salesforce.com, Leverage Point, and SAP (S4/Hana) are an asset
  • Fluent English
