**Job Summary**

As a Service Engineer at Canon, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional service support to our customers in Austria and other sites in Germany. This position requires a strong technical background and excellent communication skills to ensure seamless service delivery.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Install and configure semiconductor equipment on-site, adhering to relevant guidelines and industry standards.
  • Verify machine parameters meet specifications before customer acceptance, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Provide technical support to customers, following established service guidelines and best practices.
  • Offer general telephone assistance to customers, addressing their queries and concerns.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for staff and customers, enhancing their technical knowledge and skills.
  • Maintain and improve technical expertise, staying up-to-date with the latest technological advancements in the field.

**Requirements:**

  • Engineering or science degree or equivalent experience in a service environment within the electronics industry.
  • Working knowledge of optical, electronic, and/or mechanical principles.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools software, such as Unix and Microsoft.
  • Strong attraction to high-end technology and a passion for innovation.
  • Fluent German and English speaker, with excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Comfortable with travel and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
