Salary


We offer a competitive salary based on your performance, experience, and qualifications. The estimated monthly salary for this position is €14,419 - €18,519 per month, paid 14 times a year in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group J.



Job Description


As a Project Director for Power Modules, you will lead product development projects with significant complexity, risk, and noticeable impact for the Power Systems organization. You will work with diverse, cross-functional project teams as well as with all levels of management up to senior executive level. Your responsibilities will include:



  • Leading product development projects with significant complexity, risk, and noticeable impact for the Power Systems organization.
  • Looking at the bigger picture, with business in mind, to identify challenges and working with stakeholders to come up with solutions.
  • Conducting forward-looking risk management to identify mitigation measures and/or backup scenarios.
  • Assuming full responsibility for your projects by assessing progress and adjusting the project plan to ensure goals are met.
  • Forming, guiding, and motivating diverse, cross-functional project teams.
  • Actively managing internal and external key stakeholders in an international environment.


Required Skills and Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you should have:



  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Microelectronics, or similar.
  • At least 8 years of professional experience, with 6 years of leading projects and project teams as a Project Manager.
  • A formal PM certification (e.g., IPMA, PMI, or equivalent) is desired.
  • Hands-on project management experience in the arena of power conversion.
  • Experience with power module assembly processes, test, and qualification is a plus.
  • Great intercultural competencies and communication skills, with excellent English skills.
  • The ability to thrive in a complex matrix organization.
  • Willingness to travel as needed within Asia, the United States, and to Europe.
