Postgraduate Research Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Postgraduate or Postdoctoral Research Associate to join our team at the BOKU Core Facilities, Core Facility Biomolecular & Cellular Analysis.
Responsibilities:- Contribute to a high-tech research laboratory with a focus on interpreting biochemical/biophysical data
- Provide scientific support to users in the fields of biochemical/biophysical data generation and interpretation
- Develop and apply non-standard evaluation methods for complex biological systems
- Establish a future collaboration with a suitable lab/core facility for Cryo-EM experiments
- Perform administrative tasks within the Core Facility
- Support users and/or customers with writing grant proposals and scientific publications
- Involvement in teaching (lectures and practical courses)
- Doctoral degree/PhD in Biophysical Studies or related field
- Diploma degree in Biophysics or other equivalent university degree
- Very good command of English (and German), fluent in written and spoken language
- Desirable skills: sound previous professional experience in biophysics, programming skills, and experience with supervision of students and/or users
- Gross monthly salary and pay grade in terms of collective agreement for university staff
