Regional Operations Manager for Last Mile Delivery

Amazon Europe Core is seeking an experienced Regional Operations Manager to lead the last mile delivery operations in our region. This role requires a strong leader who can maximize efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, including proficiency in English and German (written and verbal). A degree qualification or equivalent, as well as direct management experience in a logistics or distribution environment, is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience with planning, performance metrics, and process improvement.

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the medium-term strategy for last mile delivery, leading improvement activities in key priority areas, and ensuring a best-in-class delivery experience at site level. They will also be expected to work closely with site operations, ACES, and CO to improve routing efficiency and reduce costs.

In addition to their technical skills, the candidate should possess excellent leadership and partnership skills, with the ability to partner with senior regional managers and dotted-line leadership of regional AMDO and SMDO communities.

This is a field-based role that requires significant travel between multiple sites weekly. We offer a competitive salary package, which includes €96,000 per annum based on industry standards, plus additional benefits such as relocation assistance and professional development opportunities.
