European Marketing Communications Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated European Marketing Communications Specialist to join our team at UEG - United European Gastroenterology. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for advancing the implementation of our online marketing and communication strategy.

UEG is a professional non-profit organisation combining all leading European medical specialist and national societies focused on digestive health. Our mission is to improve prevention and care of digestive diseases in Europe through education, research, and clinical standards.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in our young, dynamic team and actively shape the marketing communications department with autonomy and creativity. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating, executing, and evaluating overall communication campaigns
  • Working with the creative team and external agencies to develop graphic materials and promotional assets
  • Monitoring adherence to corporate identity and acting as brand guardian
  • Creating photo and media content in-house and liaising with external agencies

You will also support the strategic planning of UEG marketing and communication activities and implementation in all promotional channels, with a focus on digital and community management.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant professional training or studies, or experience in a comparable position, with a minimum of 5 years' experience
  • Business-level fluency in German and English, both oral and written
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Knowledge of image editing, graphical concepts, and Adobe Suite

You should have a passion for technological innovations in marketing and communication, as well as experience with digital content creation and CMS systems.
