Strategic Project Director for Electric Steelmaking Operations

Electric Steelmaking Project Management Role

We are seeking a seasoned Sr. Project Manager to lead the execution of complex Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) projects, driving project delivery within defined financial, quality, and schedule targets.

The successful candidate will live full responsibility for the successful implementation of their projects, ensuring compliance with valid regulations, rules, and standards. They will also manage project risks by identifying and assessing all risk factors utilizing available risk assessment tools.

This strategic role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as a proactive, solution-oriented attitude. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of management experience in complex construction and plant building projects, advanced knowledge of EAF-related engineering and technology, and expertise in project management methods and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage technical expertise to drive project execution and ensure delivery of high-quality results.
  • Manage project budgets and resources effectively, ensuring timely completion within defined financial targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring seamless project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
