Medical Lead Vaccines Development

We're seeking an experienced Medical Lead Vaccines Development to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing specialist support to global vaccine development related medical activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Medical Monitoring and Oversight concepts on program level and trial level (Medical Monitoring Plans)
  • Steer and manage external teams of regional medical monitors
  • Spearhead clinical strategy in the development and maintenance of professional and credible relationships with key opinion leaders
  • Provide relevant medical input to essential documents on program and trial level
  • Deliver training to internal and external stakeholders on medical contents
  • Stay up-to-date with professional information through conferences and medical literature
  • Ensure compliance with applicable processes concerning Medical Monitoring and interface with Clinical Safety
  • Ensure budgets, timelines, compliance requirements are factored into programs' medical activities

As a Medical Lead Vaccines Development, you will have a strong background in Clinical Development and experience in managing cross-functional global teams. You will also possess knowledge of clinical trial methodology, regulatory requirements governing clinical trials/studies, and experience in reviewing and interpreting clinical trial protocols.

Requirements:
  • M.D. degree and experience in Clinical Development are mandatory
  • Relevant therapeutic experience in immunology or vaccinology preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience in clinical development
  • Experience of managing cross-functional global teams on development program level
  • Ability to run Medical Monitoring / Medical Oversight of the assigned programs/trials
  • Knowledge of clinical safety requirements
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

The estimated annual salary for this position is €110,000 gross based on full-time employment.
