About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Buyer to join our Global Sourcing department at ABB. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the procurement of indirect materials and services at competitive costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procure indirect materials and services at competitive costs
  • Adhere to compliance requirements and Group guidelines
  • Monitor deadlines and quality targets
  • Analyze procurement markets and create a suitable supplier portfolio
  • Negotiate prices with suppliers
  • Manage master data and create statistics and reports
Requirements
  • Completed commercial/technical education
  • Relevant professional experience in international purchasing
  • Market knowledge and experience in indirect materials and services
  • Confident handling of MS Office applications
  • Desirable: experience with SAP module MM
