About the Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned procurement professional to lead our global procurement efforts, driving value, quality, and impact across our international operations. As Global Procurement Strategist, you will develop and implement procurement strategies that align with our organization's values of sustainability and social responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute global procurement strategies to maximize value, quality, and impact
  • Lead supplier selection and contract negotiation to secure the best terms
  • Ensure effective, efficient, and compliant procurement processes across all offices and regions
  • Foster strong, ethical relationships with suppliers, ensuring continuous improvement
  • Oversee purchase orders, logistics, and deliveries to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
  • Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, ideally in an international or NGO context
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Analytical thinker with a focus on problem-solving
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (BMD, Solver)
  • Fluency in English and German is essential; French or Portuguese is an asset
  • Commitment to ethical and sustainable sourcing
  • Strong communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills
