Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and set up test arrangements on battery test benches, ensuring optimal testing conditions.
  • Plan and execute tests, evaluating results and documenting findings to inform future improvements.
  • Develop and implement measurement and control procedures, executing measurements to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Calibrate measuring systems to ensure precise data collection.
  • Maintain and operate the battery laboratory, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Develop and further develop measurement and control procedures for battery test rigs, staying up-to-date with industry advancements.
  • Apply new measuring systems to enhance testing capabilities.
  • Suggest improvements to laboratory/test bench equipment and tests to optimize performance.

Requirements:

  • Completed education in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Laboratory experience desirable, with skills in test set-ups, PLC programming, and automation.
  • Very good knowledge of English is a prerequisite, with good knowledge of German desirable.

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act, we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation. The employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry. We will offer market-conforming payment, taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
