About the Job
We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic individual to join our team as a Program Associate, Health. Reporting to the Director, Health, you will be a key player in driving the goals of our Health Program Pillar.
Responsibilities include ensuring seamless program operations, network engagement, and contributing to the development of communications outputs and program activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Director on the research, planning, and execution of a robust portfolio of Health program activities.
- Oversee logistics including participant recruitment, invitations, and program scheduling.
- Manage program timelines, ensuring deadlines are met and materials are prepared for participants and stakeholders in line with institutional guidelines.
- Coordinate with internal departments at Salzburg Global, including Operations, Hospitality, and Communications, to ensure smooth execution of programs.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, ideally in social sciences, global health, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in program management, project administration, or operations, preferably in a global health or nonprofit setting.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal and diplomacy skills; able to work with people from diverse backgrounds and at all levels of an organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, ability to work with database software, and content management platforms.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English.
- Enthusiasm for global health issues and the mission of Salzburg Global Seminar.
What We Offer
- EUR 30,800 per year before tax and commensurate with experience.
- A modest relocation package will be offered for candidates outside of Salzburg.
- Standard Austrian benefits include health insurance, pension contributions, sick pay, and 25 days of annual leave.
