Job Title: Staff Engineer Product Definition Engineering Automotive Power Electronics

At Infineon Technologies, we are shaping the future of mobility with microelectronics. We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Engineer to join our team in Product Definition Engineering for Automotive Power Electronics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain product requirements for high-voltage discrete products, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement product roadmaps, driving innovation and growth in the automotive power electronics market.
  • Lead technical discussions with customers, providing expert guidance on product capabilities and applications.
  • Contribute to the development of technical articles, presentations, and other marketing materials, showcasing Infineon's expertise in power electronics.
  • Work closely with regional field application teams to ensure seamless product integration and support.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Physics, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of professional experience in power electronics, preferably in the automotive or industrial sector.
  • Strong technical leadership skills, with experience in setting up and running tests for power components.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Knowledge of power technologies, such as SiC MOSFETs, and experience in creating technical articles and presentations.
