We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef with expertise in Chinese cuisine to join our team at DO & CO.

About the Role

As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Chinese cuisine section in our production kitchen. You will lead and manage a team of skilled chefs, train and mentor them in Indian cuisine techniques, ingredients, and cooking methods.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of kitchen staff to ensure that all dishes meet the highest standards of quality and consistency.
  • Manage stock and ordering supplies, including authentic Indian ingredients, ensuring that all products are fresh and of high quality.
  • Continuously review and improve processes to ensure maximum efficiency and quality of output.
  • Ensure timely delivery of food while maintaining the highest levels of quality and consistency.
  • Train and manage a team of skilled chefs and kitchen staff.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Maintain the highest levels of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Travel to international events.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in high-end operations cooking Indian cuisine.
  • In-depth knowledge of Chinese ingredients, techniques, and flavors.
  • Experience in managing a team of kitchen staff.
  • Ability to create and develop menus showcasing traditional and innovative Chinese cuisine.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Chinese is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
