Role Overview
As a Financial Solutions Module Specialist focusing on Financial Products Subledger (FPSL), you will collaborate closely with clients to assess and define their business needs and processes. Your role will involve crafting solution designs and assisting in the configuration of this specialized module. Additionally, you will play a vital role in enhancing our global practice and refining existing SAP Fioneer solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate business requirements and contribute to the creation of product backlogs for SAP S/4HANA FPSL implementations.
- Design and configure accounting processes to ensure adherence to accounting standards such as IFRS 9, IFRS 17, HGB, among others.
- Develop, deploy, and manage data architecture across various solutions (On-Premise, Cloud, and Hybrid), including business applications and tools.
- Implement and enhance SAP FPSL for IFRS 9, IFRS 17, or local accounting standards, including necessary interfaces.
- Support feasibility studies, conduct solution reviews, and collaborate with sales teams to identify potential opportunities.
- Assist in development activities by working with the Product Development Team and providing functional specifications and solution design support for custom enhancements.
Your Contribution
You will facilitate more efficient digital processes within the module functionalities for our clients and significantly contribute to both the implementation and ongoing development of the module. Your expertise is essential in ensuring that the solutions we create are seamlessly integrated into our clients' existing infrastructures.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of practical experience with S/4HANA FPSL, S/4HANA Finance, SAP Bank Analyzer AFI, or SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PAPM).
- Proficiency in configuring SAP S/4HANA FPSL, S/4HANA Finance, and/or SAP PaPM using the provided business content.
- Experience in Finance and Accounting functions within a banking or insurance environment.
- A solid understanding of the accounting processes integrated within the solution.
- Fluent in English for effective communication; proficiency in German is a plus but not mandatory.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
