Our goal is to play a significant role in minimizing global greenhouse gas emissions by offering innovative solutions for green hydrogen production. We are entering the electrolysis sector and expanding a new business line for ANDRITZ in the coming years. Our technology roadmap includes market offerings for alkaline (AEL) and proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolysis processes, while we also monitor developments in anion exchange membrane (AEM) and solid oxide electrolysis (SOEL).
ANDRITZ possesses extensive experience in delivering turnkey and EPC projects worldwide, coupled with strong capabilities in cost-effective manufacturing. We maintain active partnerships with HyCentA Technical University Graz and Fraunhofer ISE, along with close ties to potential green hydrogen clients within our existing energy sector customer base, as well as in the pulp & paper and steel industries.
We are seeking a Green Hydrogen Project Engineering Manager (m/f/d) to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all engineering activities within projects.
- Manage engineering processes throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Schedule engineering tasks and ensure alignment with the overall project timeline.
- Clarify and present technical solutions to clients.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for clients regarding design aspects.
- Collaborate with internal product design experts on customized modifications.
Qualifications
- A degree in chemical, process, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
- At least five years of experience as a lead engineer or project engineering manager; project management experience is advantageous.
- Proven experience in projects where piping engineering is crucial, particularly in the chemical or process industries.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing teams.
- Ability to consult with clients and regulatory bodies on technical design requirements.
- Capable of explaining design solutions effectively.
- Experience in conducting acceptance tests and overseeing installation and commissioning during startup.
- Strong communication, analytical, and planning skills.
- Solution-oriented, team-focused, and proactive in approach.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of another European language is a plus.
- Willingness to travel for a minimum of five days each month.
