At Andritz, we're committed to reducing global greenhouse gas emissions by providing innovative solutions for green hydrogen production. As a Green Hydrogen Product Engineer - Electrical Solutions, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our technology roadmap and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Concept design for power distribution and rectifier systems at plant level
  • Research and evaluation of potential partners and suppliers
  • Defining and creating electrical studies (e.g. short circuit, harmonic, arc flash protection and coordination, grounding)
  • Establishing and managing electrical design standards
  • Electric system cost and design advisory within sales and execution projects
  • Preparing electrical basic design documents
  • Creating and evaluating inquiries for the procurement process
Requirements:
  • Degree-level qualification in an engineering discipline
  • Minimum five years of experience in designing and implementing industrial medium and low voltage power systems
  • Proven experience with industrial rectifier systems and/or high voltage (HV) systems is a plus
  • Ability to consult and negotiate with customers and suppliers to prepare robust specifications, explain proposals in an engaging manner and present results in clear and factual engineering reports
  • Experience to perform acceptance tests and to supervise the installation and commissioning during start-up
  • Knowledge about European electrical standards
  • North American standards will be a plus
  • Experience in the preparation and evaluation of short-circuit and harmonic studies is an advantage

In Austria, we are legally obliged to announce at least a gross monthly salary of 4,112.78 / month for this position. Depending on qualifications and professional experience, we offer a market-based salary.
