Job Title: Engineer Instrumentation and Process Control

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineer Instrumentation and Process Control to join our Electric & Automation department in Vienna.

About the Role:

As an Engineer Instrumentation and Process Control, you will be responsible for the electrical implementation of process instrumentation, specification of instruments, and selection of field instrumentation equipment. You will also contribute to HAZOP and SAFETY, support multinational projects, and optimize and maintain existing solutions.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Electrical implementation of process instrumentation to flow sheets (P&ID) together with process engineers
  • Specification of instruments and related process functional descriptions
  • Selection and dimensioning of (field) instrumentation equipment for process control
  • Contributing to HAZOP and SAFETY, supporting all stakeholders in multinational projects
  • Optimization and maintaining of existing solutions as well as the development of new, innovative solutions
Requirements:
  • Completed technical education in electrical engineering/automation technology or similar
  • At least 3 years of experience in instrumentation and process control
  • Good knowledge of European and international guidelines and standards (IEC, NEMA/UL)
  • Good knowledge of modern instrumentation engineering tools (e.g. COMOS)
