Lead UX Research Consultant

We are seeking a driven User Experience Research Specialist to become a vital part of our team at Adverity. In this role, you will be instrumental in transforming the user experience of our intricate, data-centric web applications tailored for marketing professionals.

This is a full-time hybrid opportunity based at our Headquarters, or within a reasonable commuting distance, allowing for office visits 2-3 times a month.

Your Responsibilities Include:

Initial Onboarding (First 2-3 Months):

  • Embark on your journey with a customized onboarding experience designed to familiarize you with our platform, workflows, tools, and teams. A dedicated buddy will assist you during this introductory phase.

Post-Onboarding (After 2-3 Months):

  • After gaining insights into our product through extensive research, you will focus on one of the primary product domains, with opportunities for future transitions.
  • Lead, coordinate, and execute comprehensive mixed-methods research initiatives, both evaluative and generative, showcasing a high level of initiative and autonomy.
  • Enhance or establish effective research operations to facilitate quicker and more frequent research, emphasizing the integration of continuous and automated research techniques into our processes.
  • Conduct workshops to gather insights from various teams (customer service, product management, sales, etc.), share your research outcomes, and collaborate on solution brainstorming.
  • Innovate in ways to amplify the visibility of user research within the organization, as well as attract and engage research participants.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • 3+ years of experience in a UX Research capacity, with a strong emphasis on qualitative methodologies (concept and usability testing, interviews, workshops), alongside some exposure to quantitative methods (particularly surveys and analytics).
  • A willingness to learn a highly technical platform, characterized by complex user journeys and mental models.
  • Strong initiative and exceptional analytical abilities, focusing on delivering research efficiently and valuably, while maintaining a holistic view and summarizing findings in a clear, actionable manner.
  • Confidence and empathy in fostering relationships with a diverse array of stakeholders, enhancing the position of UXR in relation to other departments and promoting UXR principles.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English, as this is our primary business language.
