About the Role

As an IT Product Delivery Manager at Herold Business Data, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth transition of products from development to release. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate successful product delivery, aligning with the company's product strategy and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Backlog Management and Technical Priorities: Maintain the product backlog, prioritizing tasks based on business requirements and collaborating with the Commercial Product Manager to ensure alignment with product strategy.
  • User Stories and Acceptance Criteria: Work with the Commercial Product Manager to write detailed user stories and define acceptance criteria for the technical teams.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with stakeholders, including the Commercial Product Manager and technical teams, to ensure alignment on product features and delivery priorities.
  • Technical Coordination and Delivery: Coordinate technical tasks among developers, designers, and other technical teams, facilitating smooth transitions from development to release.
  • Product Release Management: Oversee the technical aspects of product releases, working with development and operations teams to ensure timely and successful deployment.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all technical deliverables meet quality standards and acceptance criteria, coordinating with QA teams to conduct rigorous testing.
Requirements
  • Language Skills: Excellent English language skills (verbal and written), with German language skills being a plus.
  • Technical Background: Solid understanding of software development processes, engineering practices, and technical concepts.
  • Product Management Knowledge: Familiarity with product management principles and backlog management techniques.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Project Management Skills: Experience in project management, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on technical problem resolution.
  • Team Collaboration: Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across cross-functional teams.
