We are seeking a highly skilled Automated Cell Culture System Support Specialist to join our team at Molecular Devices. As part of the Product Support Team in the Service Organization, this individual will provide high-quality engineering support to meet Field Service and external customer needs on the CellXpress.ai Automated Cell Culture System.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in life sciences and diagnostics, with a focus on automated cell culture systems. They will possess excellent troubleshooting skills and be able to translate their knowledge into effective service documentation, including manuals, technical bulletins, work instructions, and parts lists. Interaction with cross-functional team members is essential, including Service, Product Development, Custom Solutions, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Applications, and the Customer.

This position reports to the Senior Manager, Product Support Engineer, and is based in Salzburg, Austria. The role involves generating documentation, conducting hardware and software training, providing direct escalation support, performing risk management, and project execution support to ensure CellXpress products meet service requirements prior to shipment.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a Life Science discipline or Engineering, along with 5+ years of professional work experience as a hands-on engineer in a life science company or discovery laboratory environment. Experience with liquid handling instruments, incubators, and robotics is a plus. Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required, as well as the ability to work with cross-functional teams and quickly learn new products and software applications.
