Retail Manager – Service Station - Wauchope Our client, Pearl Energy No 1 Pty Ltd, based out of Bellavista (NSW), is actively looking for an experienced Retail Manager to join its team on a full-time basis to be placed at Pearl Energy, Wauchope, NSW 2446.
The business is an effective retailer in the petroleum industry in Australia, providing quality retail fuels at competitive prices, as well as a range of convenience items and services for the motoring public.
The company is widely recognised within the larger petroleum industry structure with affiliations with supply partners Mobil Oil, BP Australia, and Ampol Australia Ltd.
Main Responsibilities of the role are: Manage the smooth operation of the store and pump.Responsible for achieving customer satisfaction, profit, sales, and employee performance goals.Manage and motivate a team to increase sales and ensure efficiency.Actively engage with customers to identify future prospects and business possibilities.Service Management, formulating and implementing service standards.Manage stock levels and order from suppliers appropriately.Formulate suitable incentives for promotions.Maintain active consultation with service providers for local services and purchases.Undertake the recruitment process as needed.Prepare and provide reports to management.Recruit, train, and retain team members to create a fun, collaborative, and success-focused culture.Mentor and develop the team in providing an amazing customer experience.Must Have: Relevant qualification in Business/Management.3 years of experience in the retail sector.1 year of Australian experience as a Store Manager in a service station.Skills Needed: Good communication skills.IT literate.Project management (to undertake mini projects from time to time).Negotiation skills, especially with suppliers.Stock management.Successful candidates will receive an annual salary of $70,000 - $85,000 plus superannuation.
