Job descriptionOur client is a leading provider within the logistics industry, with a strong transformation agenda.
The Procurement Pricing Manager is a newly created role reporting directly into the Head of Procurement.
The role will be responsible for establishing the pricing strategy for a greenfield and large subcontracting portfolio for the organisation.This role is Melbourne based.
Responsibilities:Developing and executing subcontractor pricing strategies.Utilising deep analytical insights to optimise costs and improve pricing models.Collaborating closely with commercial teams to ensure competitive, fair, and sustainable pricing.Leading initiatives for continuous improvement in subcontractor procurement processes.Working with senior managers across the business on embedding the pricing strategy, including updating on progress and identifying any risks.Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand pain points and embed the newly established procurement process across the business.Strategic sourcing across key categories for the business ensuring cost savings, cost avoidance and security of supply.Monitoring industry trends and market developments to drive innovation and maintain competitiveness.Ensuring procurement strategy is aligned with wider business strategy and initiatives.Identifying and proactively managing any procurement risk to the business including developing risk mitigation plans.Essential Skills:Extensive experience in procurement, pricing strategy, and subcontractor management.Deep analytical experience, gained from large corporates or ideally Tier 1 consulting firms.Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.A keen sense of commercial acumen and strategic thinking.A continuous improvement mindset, always looking for ways to enhance operational efficiencies.Ideally experience gained in consulting environments.Education: tertiary qualified, and/or MBA.Join a high performing procurement team undergoing transformation and growth.
