About the Opportunity
Due to new long-term projects kicking off we are seeking experienced Production Superintendent to join our team.
8:6 or 4:3 roster, with nightshift - if required to cover supervisionGudai-Darri CampMining production working environment.About You Extensive supervisory experience across Mining or a Bulk Earthworks environmentExperience in the operation of Caterpillar and Komatsu earth moving equipment including HD785 Rigid dump trucks and CAT992 Loaders.A strong safety focussed approach to delivering work.Ability to lead, develop and mentor crews.Hold current HR licence as minimum - EssentialWhite Card - EssentialHave Australian working rights - EssentialExcellent leadership and people management skillsExcellent communication skills with effective organisational skillsResponsibilities
As the production superintendent reporting to the Project Manager and Managing the production supervisors, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
Mentoring and managing the production supervisors and Bulk Haulage operations.Ensuring safe productivity whilst meeting daily targets, including planning of work activitiesDelivery of daily pre-start and toolbox meetings as required.Identify and solve production issues and find resolutions with stakeholders.Monitor progress of personnel and equipment requirementsMaintain a high level of safety standards at all times including leading by example to encourage safe work practicesEnsure compliance with relevant codes and specifications and that client requirements are implementedBenefits & Rewards Be part of team first environmentExcellent rates and rewards offeredSupportive training and developmentiContracting is an equal-opportunity employer that encourages applicants from diverse backgrounds to apply.
