With approximately 1500 dedicated staff members, our Information Management and Technology Unit plays a crucial role in delivering IT services that support both our community and internal operations.

About The RoleThe Middleware/AI Specialist will play a vital role in developing, implementing, and maintaining AI-driven solutions and system integrations within the Council's technology infrastructure.
This position supports the Council's growing demand for intelligent systems and data-driven automation, ensuring efficient workflows and improved customer experiences.
By collaborating with various stakeholders, the Middleware/AI Specialist will design and develop robust systems that align with enterprise standards while focusing on security and data protection measures.
Who We're Looking ForWe are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Middleware/AI Specialist who possesses a strong blend of technical and communication skills.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines.Proven experience in AI development and machine learning.Strong proficiency in back-end programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#) and front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React).Experience with cloud platforms, API development, and system integrations.Exceptional communication skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.In addition to technical expertise, we value a passion for continuous learning and creativity in finding new solutions.
Candidates should demonstrate strong UI/UX design skills and a commitment to enhancing the overall customer experience.
