Job Description PHD Melbourne Planning Director Melbourne, South Yarra Full Time, Permanent Reporting to the General Manager- Retail About the role: As a Planning Director you will:
Originate the Communications Plan: Create channel plans that build from the core media idea and demonstrate expert planning skills.
Manage client relationships: Serve as the principal client contact for the entire planning process.
Leverage strong relationships to influence clients and media owners at all levels.
Strategically deliver insightful media strategies for your client, in conjunction with the strategy team when appropriate.
Identify strategic creative and innovative media initiatives that arise from the strategic media direction and lead their implementation.
Work alongside Strategy and Investment teams to ensure the best possible product reaches the market.
Ensure all media goals and strategies are achievable and executable within budgets with support from the Investment team.
Own the planning process across all media, including digital, ensuring digital adheres to Source principles.
About you: Proven ability to lead the development of insights and creative communication solutions.
Agency's best interest at heart, always looking for opportunities to collaborate and include SBUs to drive additional revenue.
Ability to clearly brief and articulate client goals to media owners for best market responses.
Strong social skills to form relationships with your team and clients.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Confidence in being the principal client contact for the whole planning process.
