About the Role This is a five year fixed term SES 1 position The Department of Transport and Planning is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to take on the role of Director, State Planning Services.
This is your opportunity to influence state-wide planning outcomes and drive excellence in statutory planning services within the Planning and Land Services Group.
With a focus on delivering quality statutory planning, you will oversee the assessment and approval of planning scheme amendments, administer key programs like the Growth Areas Infrastructure Contribution Program, and support stakeholders in achieving timely, high-quality planning outcomes.
As a member of the State Planning leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Victoria's future planning systems, policies, and projects.
You will lead by fostering a high-performing, customer-focused culture, inspiring your team to embrace innovation and deliver exceptional results.
This role requires forging strong partnerships across government, industry, and communities to achieve a liveable, inclusive, and sustainable Victoria.
