This new role encompasses agency-wide Work Health & Safety, incident response and investigation processes, and employee learning and development.
Job DescriptionThe Wellbeing & Compliance Officer plays a pivotal role in promoting a healthy, safe, and legally compliant work environment while ensuring that employees' overall wellbeing is prioritised.
Expected commencing salary of $87,675.81 per annum plus statutory superannuation.
Because MASP is a non-profit organisation, you also have the option to maximise your income through salary packaging.
Desired Skills and ExperienceEssential role-specific skills, knowledge and experience Demonstrated experience in a similar role.Demonstrated skills in the application of safety practices including hazard and risk management, incident investigation and audits.Excellent people engagement and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels to provide safety and wellbeing related recommendations and directives.Strong organisational skills and time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks.A personable approach and strong work ethic with motivation to work in challenging environments.High attention to detail and ability to prepare documentation in line with relevant situational requirements.Proven experience in the development and implementation of safety management processes, procedures, and templates.Highly desirable role-specific skills, knowledge and experience Relevant qualification in Administration, Occupational Health & Safety or other relevant tertiary studies or relevant experience.Experience in a not for profit / charitable organisation.Proven experience in workers' compensation claims management and safety and wellbeing programs and initiatives.Knowledge and understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 (Vic), Occupational Health and Safety Regulations 2017 (Vic), Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (NSW).** PLEASE NOTE: Applications that do not address the Key Selection Criteria in the position description may not be considered **
