Two full time, continuing roles as Senior Engagement Librarian (HASS/STEM)Opportunity to provide engagement and education services across faculties and university schoolsBase Salary $108,557 - $118,267 + 17% superannuationAbout the opportunity The Senior Engagement Librarian supports the Academic Engagement team in providing engagement and education services across faculties and university schools. The jobholder will contribute to high-level engagement activities, coordinate service delivery and project management, address complex information queries, and take on leadership responsibilities. The Senior Engagement Librarian will actively share expertise and best practices in technology with others and sponsor the development of new and innovative technology-related ideas and/or procedures to meet the current learning, teaching and research needs of the University and improve the user experience. The Senior Engagement Librarian will maintain strategic partnerships with senior stakeholders, fostering trust and collaboration to achieve shared objectives. The jobholder will anticipate and adapt to emerging trends and technologies in the Library and University, using this knowledge to drive innovative services that meet the evolving needs of the academic community.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
Systematically engage and build proactive partnerships with the academic community.Coordinate team-based delivery of information and digital literacy services.Provide oversight and plan faculty engagement to deliver effective learning experiences.Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of service delivery and contribute to reporting and analytics.Actively contribute to team, Library and University culture and values.About you Degree with substantial relevant experience; or experience and management expertise in a technical field; or equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.Holds or willing to obtain, a Working with Children Check.Experience in leading diverse groups to achieve collaborative and high-performance outcomes.Extensive experience in designing and delivering student-focused education programs, integrating emerging skills or technologies for enhanced learning experiences.Experience in leading and managing projects, with a focus on delivering high-quality resources or programs within specified timelines.Experience delivering high-quality information and digital literacy services, with a thorough understanding of the contemporary landscape.Ability to make informed decisions, analyse data, and offer strategic recommendations that drive successful engagement initiatives.Expertise in designing learner-focused education programs, integrating emerging trends and skills for impactful learning experiences.Ability to align programs and services with University priorities, cultivate transformative partnerships, and measure impact through feedback mechanisms.Sponsorship / work rights for Australia Work Rights: You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to apply.
