Join us at UTS and help shape the futureThe OpportunityAs the Senior Integration Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and enhancement of data integration solutions, ensuring secure and efficient exchange of information across UTS's complex systems.
This role will give you the chance to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integration solutions that align with the university's strategic goals.
You will leverage your technical expertise to provide mentorship to junior engineers, handle complex integration programs, and ensure data accuracy, security, and real-time synchronization between diverse systems.A Day in the Life of a Senior Integration Engineer at UTSLead the development, testing, and deployment of integration solutions using cutting-edge technologies.Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into integration solutions.Design and implement integration solutions that seamlessly connect systems, ensuring data accuracy and security.Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to integrations, ensuring optimal system performance.Create detailed documentation for integration solutions, architecture, and processes to support future maintenance and upgrades.Lead technical reviews and mentor junior team members to ensure consistency and quality across integration efforts.Identify opportunities to optimize data flow, reduce latency, and enhance user experiences.Ensure compliance with cybersecurity best practices and data privacy regulations in all integration activities.What You'll Need to SucceedDeep knowledge of integration technologies like Boomi AtomSphere, AWS data streaming, APIs, and microservices.Proven ability to lead integration programs and mentor junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.Ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical solutions and communicating complex ideas clearly.Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving integration-related issues, ensuring data accuracy and optimal system performance.Experience with Agile methodologies to efficiently execute integration projects and continuously improve processes.Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and data privacy regulations, with experience implementing secure integration solutions.Ability to align integration solutions with the university's long-term goals, ensuring that integration efforts support UTS's broader mission.Remuneration & BenefitsA competitive and comprehensive remuneration package will be offered.
This role attracts 17% superannuation in addition to the base salary.
