What does the job look like? Join our dynamic Retail team as a AM Transport Allocator based in Truganina, where you will play a key role in overseeing transport operations for one of Australia's largest supermarket chains.
In this hands-on role, you'll manage allocations, route planning, and dispatching metropolitan deliveries to ensure smooth and efficient shift operations.
You'll be working 12-hour shifts starting at 4 AM, with a bi-weekly rotating roster:
Week 1: Monday and Tuesday ON, Wednesday and Thursday OFF, Friday to Sunday ONWeek 2: Monday and Tuesday OFF, Wednesday and Thursday ON, Friday to Sunday OFFThis position offers a great opportunity to build your skills in a fast-paced, high-impact environment while contributing to the success of a major retail business.
Key areas:
Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders, providing clear instructions while fostering positive relationshipsMaintain accurate documentation and records related to run sheets, delivery schedules, and compliance requirementsEnsure regular communication with customers, keeping them well-informed about their scheduled deliveries or any changes that may impact themParticipating and committing to Safety Standards and COR requirements at all timesAre you the one? We're seeking seasoned transport professionals with experience in scheduling/allocation or relevant operations, offering training and support for the ideal candidate.
You can demonstrate:
