About the Role:
We are expanding our team and are excited to welcome a dedicated
Assessment Psychologist
specialising in
Autism and ADHD assessments .
This role involves providing high-quality, neuro-affirming assessments for children, adolescents, and adults, with a focus on accurately diagnosing Autism and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
As part of our team, you will work closely with individuals and their families to ensure comprehensive assessments and provide detailed feedback to help guide treatment and support. You'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of neurodivergent individuals by helping them better understand their unique strengths and challenges.
Your Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive Autism and ADHD assessments using evidence-based diagnostic tools
Provide detailed written reports and feedback to clients, families, and relevant stakeholders, including NDIS and educational institutions
Develop individualised treatment recommendations based on assessment findings
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to ensure holistic and integrated care for clients
Support clients and their families with compassionate, clear, and neuro-affirming communication throughout the assessment process
Stay up to date with the latest research and developments in neurodevelopmental conditions
Maintain accurate clinical records and manage your caseload effectively

About You:
Passionate about neurodiversity
and committed to providing neuro-affirming, evidence-based assessments for Autism and ADHD
Fully registered with
AHPRA as a Psychologist
Experience
conducting Autism and ADHD assessments using standardised diagnostic tools (e.g., ADOS-2, MIGDAS, WAIS etc.)
Strong report-writing skills and the ability to communicate assessment findings clearly and compassionately to clients and families
Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
Collaborative and proactive, with a desire to contribute to a supportive, client-centered practice
Ability to work independently and remotely as needed, with a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week
Experience with NDIS reporting
and familiarity with the needs of neurodivergent individuals
Own ABN or willingness to obtain one
