With more than 100 years of combined experience and a team of more than 50 practitioners, we're also one of the largest providers in the country.
In 2022, we partnered with the leading mental wellness brand and #1 app for sleep, meditation and relaxation, Calm. Designed to help users manage stress, sleep better and live a happier, healthier life, clients from all our programs, and all our practitioners, now have access to hundreds of hours of original audio content available in seven languages through the premium Calm subscription — an Australian industry first
About the Role: We are expanding our team and are excited to welcome a dedicated Assessment Psychologist specialising in Autism and ADHD assessments.
This role involves providing high-quality, neuro-affirming assessments for children, adolescents, and adults, with a focus on accurately diagnosing Autism and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
As part of our team, you will work closely with individuals and their families to ensure comprehensive assessments and provide detailed feedback to help guide treatment and support. You'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of neurodivergent individuals by helping them better understand their unique strengths and challenges.
Your Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive Autism and ADHD assessments using evidence-based diagnostic toolsProvide detailed written reports and feedback to clients, families, and relevant stakeholders, including NDIS and educational institutionsDevelop individualised treatment recommendations based on assessment findingsCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to ensure holistic and integrated care for clientsSupport clients and their families with compassionate, clear, and neuro-affirming communication throughout the assessment processStay up to date with the latest research and developments in neurodevelopmental conditionsMaintain accurate clinical records and manage your caseload effectivelyWhat We Offer: A collaborative and supportive work environment with a strong focus on neurodiversity-affirming practicesFlexible working options, including telehealth and in-person assessments, with opportunity to work in one of our clinics across Brisbane depending on your locationCompetitive remuneration with opportunities for professional growth and developmentFREE premium access to the Calm App for you, your family, and clients to support mental wellness and mindfulnessAdministrative support for scheduling, client management, and reportingAbout You: Passionate about neurodiversity and committed to providing neuro-affirming, evidence-based assessments for Autism and ADHDFully registered with AHPRA as a PsychologistExperience conducting Autism and ADHD assessments using standardised diagnostic tools (e.g., ADOS-2, MIGDAS, WAIS etc.)Strong report-writing skills and the ability to communicate assessment findings clearly and compassionately to clients and familiesExcellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseloadCollaborative and proactive, with a desire to contribute to a supportive, client-centered practiceAbility to work independently and remotely as needed, with a minimum commitment of 10 hours per weekExperience with NDIS reporting and familiarity with the needs of neurodivergent individualsOwn ABN or willingness to obtain oneHow to Apply: If you are a Clinical Psychologist passionate about Autism and ADHD assessments and excited to work in a neuro-affirming, flexible, and supportive environment, we would love to hear from you Please send your resume and a cover letter outlining your experience and interest in the role to at ******.
