We strive to provide a level of flexibility that matches the needs of the mining industry from complete Greenfields exploration teams for short term contract drilling campaigns, to permanent senior and technical professionals for ASX listed producers and explorers.
MPI are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Exploration Manager to join this well-funded junior explorer.
Reporting to the CEO, the Exploration Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the exploration efforts from inception to discovery.
You will lead a dynamic team of geologists and technicians and will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing Greenfields exploration across multiple tenement sites.
Your expertise will contribute to the growth and success of the company.
The role: Develop and execute comprehensive exploration strategies for Greenfields projects, ensuring alignment with a commitment to environmental sustainabilityLead and inspire a talented team of geologists, field specialists and drilling contractorsFoster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages professional growthOversee all aspects of exploration projects from conception to execution.
Drive efficiency, quality, and adherence to timelines and budgetsApply your deep technical knowledge in geology to identify and evaluate exploration targets.
Utilize the latest technologies to enhance exploration successBuild and maintain strong relationships with local communities, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.
Ensure exploration activities are conducted responsibly and ethicallyEvaluate and mitigate exploration risks, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.The requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher in Geology or a related fieldMinimum of 8 years of experience working in a Geology based roleProven experience in Exploration Management, preferably in a Greenfields environmentStrong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing successful exploration teamsIn-depth technical knowledge and proficiency in exploration software Micromine is essential.The rewards: The role offers a competitive salary package with the opportunity to be part of a company that values creativity and encourages the implementation of cutting-edge technologies in exploration.
