ABOUT US
HASLIN is a leading civil construction firm, creating a legacy of exemplary and innovative infrastructure.
We are currently seeking an experienced Civil Leading Hand to take part in the new Western Sydney Airport Transmission Substation.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a hands-on role and one which will require you to work independently and lead a team.
As Leading Hand, you will be responsible for:
site compliance with all Haslin practices and standards
coordinating labour, plant, sub-contractors and materials for on budget and timely completion of the project
ensuring appropriate procedures are in place for the management and operation of Haslin plant.

WHO YOU ARE
You'll be a proven leader who can support and motivate site teams - ensuring the focus remains on safety, quality, cost and schedule in the planning and execution of work.
To be successful in this role you must have:
Plant operator licences and experience
Good all-round civil construction experience - including earthworks, services, concrete works
Leadership experience with the ability to build a cohesive team with a common goal
Demonstrated ability to delegate tasks and organise work teams
Supportive "can do" attitude
Competent interpersonal, communication skills, both verbal and written
Dedicated to maintaining safe work practices and environment
Above all else, what's most important to us is your attitude, commitment, work ethic and ability to integrate into our work culture
