Experienced Chef/Cook Position: Chef/Cook
Location: Palm Beach Soccer Club
Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week, with potential to increase
Hourly Rate: $32-$38 per hour (based on experience)
Type: Casual with potential to transition to a salary position

Our menu blends fresh, local ingredients with simple, delicious flavours, creating a menu our guests can enjoy day in and day out.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Chef/Cook to join our kitchen team.
The Role: As a key member of our kitchen team, you'll be responsible for creating delicious meals and ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.
This is a hands-on role that requires creativity, leadership, and a passion for food.
Key Responsibilities:
? Food Prep & Cooking: Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes from our seasonal menu with care and attention to detail.
? Menu Creation: Work alongside our Head Chef to develop new dishes, update the menu, and ensure offerings are always fresh and exciting.
? Stock Management: Order supplies, manage stock take, and ensure the kitchen runs smoothly with minimal waste and maximum efficiency.
? KPI Monitoring: Help manage kitchen performance through KPIs such as food cost, portion control, and labour efficiency.
? Team Support: Work closely with fellow kitchen staff, maintaining a positive and efficient environment.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
? Health & Safety: Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
What We're Looking For:
? Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef or Cook in a casual dining or similar setting.
? Skills: Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including stock control, ordering, and menu planning.
? Ability to work independently: reporting to the general manager
? Creative Flair: A passion for developing new dishes and contributing to a menu that delights our customers.
? KPI Focus: Experience with cost control, food margins, and performance metrics.
? Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a close-knit team and maintain high morale under pressure.
? Reliable & Hardworking: Strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and attention to detail.
? Food Safety Supervisor Certificate: Essential
