Position Details: Permanent positionPart-time and full-time positions availableLocated at The AlfredSecurity Officer Grade 2 (GF23)Great staff benefits, including salary packagingThe Department Support Services provides core Support Services including Non-ward Cleaning, Gardens and Grounds, Distribution, Security, Ward Support, Food Services, Fleet Management, and Car Parking.
The position of Security Officer is a key operational role within the Support Services team.
The RoleWe are seeking a motivated individual to join the Security team at Alfred Hospital.
Applicants should be flexible with hours, including night and afternoon shifts, as well as weekend work.
Responsibilities include:
Maintaining an electronic security logIncident reportingManagement of ID badge and access control functionsMonitoring of CCTVIt is preferable that candidates hold a minimum current Certificate II in Security Operations, possess good communication skills, enthusiasm, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Experience with security operations within the Health Care industry is well regarded.
This role requires good time management and organisational skills, as the main function is to provide a safe environment for patients/residents, staff, and visitors.
