As the Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the pub's daily operations, ensuring that both the front-of-house and back-of-house teams deliver top-quality service.
You'll play a key role in maintaining a positive customer experience and will be the go-to person for staff and patrons during your shift.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise day-to-day operations, ensuring the pub runs smoothly during your shift.
Lead, motivate, and support the front-of-house team to deliver excellent customer service.
Manage staff scheduling, breaks, and shift handovers.
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues efficiently to maintain a high standard of service.
Monitor cleanliness and ensure the venue meets health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Oversee bar and kitchen operations, ensuring quality control of food and beverages.
Handle cash management, daily takings, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Assist in stock control, ordering, and inventory management.
Support staff training and development to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
Requirements: Proven experience in a similar style venue.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Well groomed, upbeat and friendly persona.
Strong passion for food and drinks.
A desire to provide an exceptional customer experience and lead by example.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Hold a current RSA.
A hospitality professional who is wanting long term career growth.
