Location : Cumberland Hospital
Where you'll be working :
NSW Health, state-wide Transcultural Mental Health Centre (TMHC) Multicultural, diverse work environment Telehealth and online platforms for service delivery Collaboration with mental health providers and NGOs Based in Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) What you'll be doing :
Provide culturally responsive mental health support via phone and online Conduct brief assessments and offer clinical interventions.
Facilitate referrals and linkages to appropriate services.
Collaborate with health providers and community agencies.
Utilize bilingual skills for effective communication and support.

Essential Criteria :
Qualification : Tertiary qualifications in social work or psychology Registration : Full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or for Social Workers, eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) Selection Criteria :
Extensive experience in providing mental health and psychosocial assessment for consumers, families, and carers from culturally and linguistically diverse communities Demonstrate transcultural knowledge and experience and bilingual professional capacity Demonstrable experience in providing care or service to traumatised populations.
Effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with clients across cultures High level of written and spoken communication skills including use of telephone and online modalities Experience in building and maintaining networks with health or welfare providers Excellent time management and organisation skills with attention to detail High level understanding of privacy, confidentiality, and cultural safety Requisition ID : REQ535167
