Job Type: Permanent Work Hours: Full Time Job Description The Role
An established and highly regarded consultancy is looking for a motivated Senior Structural Technician to join their thriving Cardiff team.
This role involves producing high-quality technical drawings and contributing to innovative structural engineering solutions for a variety of projects across sectors.
Responsibilities
Preparing detailed structural drawings and general arrangements using AutoCAD and related design tools.
Reinforced Concrete (RC) detailing.
Use of Building Information Modelling (BIM) workflows / Revit.
Working closely with engineers and project managers to ensure seamless integration of technical solutions.
Demonstrating self-motivation and an organised approach to working independently or within a team.
Producing 3D structural detailing drawings if applicable.
Requirements
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office applications.
BIM/REVIT experience.
Experience with RC detailing and use of BIM360 or Viewpoint desirable.
Attention to detail and excellent communication skills for clear reporting and documentation.
Ability to manage tasks independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
