CMC are hiringWe have a permanent opportunity for an Onboarding & Maintenance Associate to join our New Business team, based in our Chatswood, Sydney office. This is an entry level role which could be suited to those looking for a graduate position in financial services or operations.Please note that we operate onsite and require you to come into our Chatswood office 5 days per week (once fully trained, there will be the option to work from our Barangaroo office 1-2 days per week). This role is only open to Sydney based candidates with full, permanent working rights (Citizen/Permanent Resident).About CMC Markets:CMC Markets is a global leader in CFD trading and share investing. Over 1.2 million clients make 67 million trades with us every year, and we're still growing.The APAC Operations team is responsible for the end-to-end operational functions covering the APAC Invest & CFD businesses, with staff based in Sydney & Singapore. The APAC Onboarding & Maintenance team has the responsibility for the processing and continual transformation of customer onboarding & maintenance, compliance program implementation, KYC and AML, periodic partner and regulatory reporting amongst other duties.Role:Responsible for timely and accurate processing of non STP new accounts and account maintenance for the CMC Invest businesses. Ensuring that every account is compliant with CMC's Onboarding and AML/KYC policies and procedures.Responsibilities:Has ownership for the new client account opening process, including reviewing non STP applications to ensure all aspects are completed and accurate.Has ownership for ensuring all account documentation meets regulatory requirements. This includes KYC, AML and appropriateness and sanctions check.Ensure all new client details are accurately updated in all relevant systems (back office, online trading platform).Share relevant information regarding client's requests with internal stakeholders in a timely manner.Maintain personal/professional development to meet the changing demands of the role, including all relevant regulatory and legislative training.Read and comply with CMC policies and procedures as they relate to your employment.This role has a Career Development Pathway which is designed to recognise tenure and skills in the form of remuneration increases and title changes.Key Skills & Experience:Scrupulous attention to detail.Ability to work autonomously.Experience of working in an administrative role, ideally within financial services.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work effectively as part of a team.Ability to handle large volumes of processing to ensure that service levels are met.Experience using large scale workflow systems (e.g. Salesforce) preferred.Basic understanding of stockbroking back-office processes advantageous but not essential.Benefits:Charity give-back days.1 extra annual day of leave for your birthday.A dedicated benefits & wellbeing hub, for you to save on groceries, access retailer discounts and enjoy various resources to enhance your physical & mental wellbeing.Receive an extra day of annual leave after each year of service (max 25 days of annual leave after 5 years of service).Social Club, Women@CMC, LinkedIn Learning and more.CMC Markets is powered by our people.
