About the role Due to an internal promotion we are seeking a dynamic and aspiring individual looking to step into the role of Management Accountant / Financial Controller. This position is perfect for candidates aiming for career advancement and who are ready to take on greater responsibilities.
Join our team and help guide our financial strategies and operations.
Reporting to the Head of Controlling, this role is responsible for providing the QLD branch with effective operational reporting, analysis and controls to ensure the financial integrity of the business.
This role also supports the Head Office with Business Line Management Accounting.
This position requires a significant amount of interaction with key stakeholders across the business, so relationship-building, Business Partnering and effective communication is a must.
This package includes $140k - $150k + 10% Bonus + 12% Super (depending on experience and qualifications)A work/life balance organisation - culture-first approachA great learning environment with local and global teamAccess to staff discount schemeA wide variety of social activities – even a day off for your birthdayOnsite ParkingKey Accountabilities Oversee all financial activities, ensure adherence to accounting standards.Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports.Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.Work closely with other departments to improve financial performance.Support strategic planning and decision-making processes.Role Requirements Agile business partneringBe able to effectively communicate with key stakeholders across the businessBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CMA, or equivalent) preferred but not mandatory.Demonstrated experience in accounting or finance roles.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and leadership abilities.Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite.Experience with SAP or other ERP systemsAbout Schindler Schindler Lifts Australia is part of the Schindler Group, one of the top elevator companies in the world, spanning 100 countries with more than 64,000 employees worldwide.
