Your primary duties will involve equipment safety checks, servicing, repairs, general maintenance, and equipment cleanliness.
The position would suit a mechanically minded person with experience in mini and mobile cranes, and excavators.
This is a workshop-based role with some field service work required.About YouMinimum 3+ years mechanical experience in a similar role is highly desirable.Heavy Diesel/Plant Mechanic certificateCommitment to high safety standardsCommitment to product quality and deliveryAutonomous and independent workerMust pass background check, drug test, and driving record check.Tasks & ResponsibilitiesBe interested and motivated in learning to diagnose faults, make recommendations, and complete minor repairs as required.Be willing to read and interpret drawings/specs to determine and complete the job.Quality inspections of our fleet pre-hire and on return.Use of hand and power tools.Be able to work as part of a team.Work within Preston Hire's high safety, quality, and process standards.We believe in the continuous pursuit of progress, striving to find the best way to achieve our goals.
